This vehicle is located at an off-site location and will need to be picked up there and not the main office site.

We strongly encourage bidders to personally inspect vehicles of interest to them. These vehicles are donated and may contain defects not immediately detectable or listed. Pick-up or viewing of this vehicle is by appointment only

Auction Terms - Please Read:
#1 All sales are final. Vehicles sold by FATE are sold in as is condition with no warranties implied or stated. It is recommended that the purchaser inspect the vehicle PRIOR to the end of the auction. The purchaser can also bring their own mechanic to inspect the vehicle prior to purchase. PLEASE ALWAYS CALL AHEAD FOR AN APPOINTMENT!
#2 No refunds will be given on any vehicle.
#3 Condition of the vehicle is not warranted and any representations made to the purchaser should be verified by an outside source.
#4 These vehicles have been donated to a school. In most cases, vehicles donated have major/minor issues with regard to mechanics. FATE cannot warrant what maintenance was performed on a vehicle PRIOR to when it was donated. It should not be assumed that students working on the vehicle have found all of the potential problems the vehicle may have.
#5 If you are not a SERIOUS BIDDER please do not bid. If you default on payment you will surrender your deposit and be black listed.
#6 No shipping or delivery is available for this item - local pickup only. Purchasers are expected to arrange transport of the vehicle within 5 days of the end of auction. Purchasers must present a valid government-issued drivers license upon completing sale paperwork of the vehicle matching the name of the auction winner. If another party will be picking up the vehicle, prior notification must be given to FATE.
#7 Payment must be made and all sale paperwork must be completed at the FATE/Student Auto Sales office prior to the pickup of the vehicle being arranged (if vehicle is located at an off-site location). No paperwork will be completed outside of the FATE/Student Auto Sales office.
#8 Absolutely NO REPAIRS may be performed on the premises of the FATE/Student Auto Sales office or of any Fairfax County Public School where a vehicle is located.
It is the responsibility of the purchasers to safely and legally transport the vehicle from pickup site. Please do not bid if you do not intend to pay for, or cannot afford this item.

Buyers Premium: A 10% Buyer Premium shall be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction to collect payment.
Vehicle Processing Fee: $100 fee shall be added to all Vehicle Sales.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email. Buyer must remove auction item(s)from said agencies premises within 5 business days of notification by Public Processing of receipt of payment. The payment receipt must be presented at the time of pick up or the said agency will not release the item to you.
Bid Deposits: Foundation for Applied Technical Education, Inc. may require bid deposits to ensure fairness and equity to all buyers as a way to decrease default bidding.
Items must be picked up within 5-business days after close of auction unless other arrangements have been made with seller. Pick up hours are 10:00am - 2:00pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, except holidays. Payment is due at the closing of the auction. All items are sold as is/where is, there are no warranties or guarantees implied or stated. Property is available for viewing by appointment call 703-220-3515.
Employees of FCPS and their immediate families living in the household cannot bid on these items. Registration and sales tax are the sole responsibility of the buyer
