2018 Ford Police Interceptor Utility (Explorer). Purchased new by The City of Capitola and was in service as a patrol vehicle.  Has normal police vehicle wear and tear, lower miles 65,597 with above normal idle hours. Has been city fleet-maintained on schedule.  Vehicle has been converted back for civilian use, spotlight, computer components, gun related brackets excetra have been removed.  See pictures.
Power locks and windows with rubber flooring. Drain holes for wash down open in back seat area. 
 
Everything you'd expect from a retired police patrol car, no more no less. Still there is some life left in it. 
 
Vehicle is being sold as is with pictures taken 11/18/2025 provided as reference.  There will be no on site inspection.  
 
Vehicles must be claimed and taken into buyer's possession within 10 days after the auctions end.

City of Capitola will charge a sales tax of 8.75%. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.

Buyers Premium:Â A Buyers Premium of 10% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.

All sales are final.

The successful bidder will be responsible for removal or pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Removal must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award of the winning bid. The notice of award, the payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at the time of pick-up, or the City of Capitola will not release the item to you.
