This vessel is being sold AS-IS // WHERE-IS and is currently located in Statter Harbor, Juneau, Alaska. 

The winning bidder will need to make all arrangements to remove the boat from its current location.

BIDDERS SHOULD VERIFY THAT THEY CAN COMPLETE ALL OF THE REQUIREMENTS OF PURCHASE, WHICH INCLUDES THE REMOVAL ARRANGEMENTS PRIOR TO PLACING A BID.

BIDDERS WHO WIN BUT ARE UNABLE TO COMPLETE THE TRANSACTION WILL BE MARKED IN DEFAULT.

The vessel was originally built in 1957 as the SHANNON FOSS for Foss Tug and Launch Company. It was repowered in approximately 1977 and has subsequently operated under several names and owners.

VIEWING & INSPECTION:

If you would like to view or inspect the vessel, you can do so by calling 907-586-0395 to schedule an appointment between 8:30 am and 4:00pm Monday through Friday.  All persons wanting to board the vessel must sign a hold harmless agreement and waiver before doing so.  

NOTE: This vessel must leave the Harbor within 7 days of purchase and payment by the winning bidder.

The winning bidder is 100% responsible for making all transport and removal arrangements.

CBJ Harbors staff will not assist with any means, including manpower or equipment that are necessary to remove the boat.

Unless prior arrangements are made, buyer must remove auction item(s) from City premises within 5 business days of Public Surplus' emailed payment receipt. PayMac, a third-party payment processing company receives and processes ALL payments for the CBJ via credit cards or wire transfers only. Payment for an awarded item must be received within 5 business days of close of auction.

A Buyers Premium of 10% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid. A bid deposit may be required on higher value items to ensure fairness and equity to all buyers as a way to decrease default bidding.

The CBJ reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to block or ban bidders who abandon awarded property or refuse to pay for an item, or to withdraw an item from sale at any time.

Currently Dutch Auctions are not supported with the Public Surplus Buyer's App. and must be bid on through an internet browser.
