Comforts of Home Semi-Permanent Bathroom Modular Skid
Vin 4C9UW09009M081051

This specification describes a 9-foot, 1-station ADA-compliant semi-permanent restroom modular skid manufactured on April 6, 2009, by Comforts of Home Services, Inc..
Unlike common mobile restroom fleets, this specific model is a non-trailer (skid-mounted) unit designed to be set directly on the ground. It is engineered for long-term, semi-permanent placement at parks, commercial sites, or multi-year projects where standard building construction is impractical but accessibility compliance is required.
Core Specifications
  • Manufacturer: Comforts of Home Services, Inc.
  • Manufacture Date: April 6, 2009
  • Footprint Length: 9 Feet (excluding any exterior landing platforms)
  • Configuration: 1-Station (Single unisex ADA suite containing one toilet and one sink)
  • Mobility Type: Non-trailer / Skid-mounted (Requires a forklift, crane, or flatbed to transport and place)
Structural & Layout Design
Because this is a skid unit rather than a trailer, it bypasses the need for hydraulic lowering axles or long, sprawling exterior ramp structures. It sits low to the ground, requiring only a minimal ramp threshold to meet compliance.
  • ADA Interior Clearance: Features a full 60-inch T-turn or 360-degree wheelchair turning radius.
  • Doorway: Heavy-duty, weather-sealed commercial door with a minimum 32-inch clear opening width and ADA-compliant lever handle.
  • Interior Features: Reinforced walls fitted with 1.5-inch stainless steel grab bars, a high-clearance wheelchair-accessible sink, and an ADA-height porcelain flush toilet.
  • Flooring: Commercial-grade, seamless non-skid rubberized or vinyl flooring for high durability and easy sanitation.
Mechanical & Utility Infrastructure
  • Climate Control: Equipped with a standard rooftop commercial HVAC unit (air conditioning with built-in heat strips) to maintain indoor climate year-round.
  • Plumbing Connection: Designed primarily for direct connection to a city water line (standard garden hose or 3/4-inch NPT connection) and direct-to-sewer plumbing bypass. It may include smaller on-board winterized holding tanks depending on the original custom utility room build.
  • Electrical Requirements: Typically powered via a dedicated 30-amp or dual 20-amp 110V shore power connection to run the water heater, interior lighting, and HVAC system.
